Die Website unseres Freundes Timo war ein handcodiertes Schmuckstück in CSS-Design. Aber wie das so mit handcodierten Seiten ohne CMS ist, es macht Arbeit, sie immer wieder auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen. Dialogfähig sind solche Seiten auch nicht. Und so dämmerte Timos statische Website in den vergangenen Monaten nur noch vor sich hin. Was extrem schade war, denn Timo stellte dort vorher regelmäßig seine superguten Fotos online.
Daher bin ich jetzt besonders froh, dass Timo sich entschlossen hat, die alte Website durch ein schneller zu handhabendes Blog zu ersetzen. Es trägt den Namen “Timos Fotobuch” und ging heute Nachmittag online.

Wie ich heute durch Marks Posting auf bnlog.de erfuhr, findet am Samstag, 23.Mai, auf dem Münsterplatz ein Flashmob zum 60.Geburtstag des Grundgesetzes statt. Um 14 Uhr werden sich dort Menschen treffen und laut aus dem Grundgesetz vorlesen. Mit dieser bundesweiten Aktion, die von Christian Bahlsvom Blog von MOGIS ins Leben gerufen wurde, soll laut Mark “die Politik daran erinnert werden, welchen Stellenwert unsere Grundrechte für uns haben”.

Mitmachen und weitersagen!
Und wer noch nie von einem Flashmob gehört hat: dabei geht es um eine übers Web organisierte scheinbar spontane Ansammlung von Menschen an einem öffentlichen Ort, bei dem irgendetwas zusammen gemacht wird. Diejenigen, die zufällig dabei sind, werden dabei auch gern angesteckt, wie in folgendem Video (das allerdings von vornherein als Werbespot konzipiert war) zu sehen:
Ich werde jedenfalls versuchen, am 23.Mai auf dem Münsterplatz zu sein und das Ganze per Video festzuhalten.
Beim heutigen Bonner Bloggertreffen im Bierhaus Machhold bin ich zum ersten Mal live mit anderen Bloggern aus meiner Stadt zusammengetroffen.
Jans Blog bonnbeuel.de kannte ich ja schon und war auch bereits über twitter in Kontakt mit ihm. So kam ich zum bnlog.de , wo gleich mehrere Bonner (u.a. Mark und Melanie, die leider zu früh wieder weg musste, um sie richtig kennenzulernen) schreiben.
Da ich nicht wusste, ob Fotografieren für alle okay wäre (viele bloggen unter Pseudonym) und Mark auch meinte, bislang hätte bei diesen Treffen noch keiner Bilder gemacht, erdachte ich statt dessen folgenden Plan B:

As already mentioned on my art blog, we went out for dinner at the Korean restaurant tonight.
After that we haven’t been able to do much else, so this will be mainly a photo series without much text. (Thomas as well as Charlie are already asleep)

When I woke up today my friend Charlie who is staying with us for a painting week was already wide awake and jumping into social media! She was about to set up her blog, had set up a twitter account and before I even had thought about breakfast we had set up a google reader account and sent her blogfeed through feedburner.
Only shortly after that we took a taxi to town because I had an osteopath appointment. When I had survived this cracking experience, we went for a hold up in a big artshop.
With all our bags (full of new paint and paper) we fell into the sushi bar to reward ourselves.
Charlie had been to the sushi bar already last time she had come to see us. So she remembered how yummy the Nigiri enveloped with tofu is there and ordered it straight away:
We took the vegetarian sushi mainly but I had some with salmon too:
I just realised today that while I read quite a few blogs for work I don’t know many blogs apart from that.
Thanks to Jan from bonnbeuel.de I found some local Bloggers from Bonn recently and will hopefully be able to attend one of the coming blogger meetups.
Then there are my Irish friend Graham’s blogs and Jon’s basset blog but I don’t know who else of my on- and offline friends has got a private blog too!
